If your relationship has broken down, dealing with the legal and practical aspects of untangling your life from your former partner can seem like a daunting task.
Our family lawyers are here to guide you through these often complicated and emotive issues, helping to keep conflict to a minimum while ensuring your rights are respected and that you can move on as quickly and smoothly as possible.
We provide a friendly, practical family law service, focused on protecting your best interests and those of your loved ones for people across the Cotswolds, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, as well as in London and throughout the UK.
Whether you need help with the divorce process, sorting out a financial settlement or making arrangements for your children, we can provide clear, effective legal advice and representation every step of the way.
As well as assisting with divorce and relationship breakdown, we regularly advise couples on creating pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements and co-habitation agreements. These can provide both parties with certainty for the future and minimise the risks of any conflict or confusion in the event your relationship does one day come to an end.

Remote - Virtual Meetings
At Tanners we recognise the importance of face to face meetings. Sometimes however, that is not possible. Whether due to Covid lockdown, work commitments or practical difficulties attending our office in Cirencester.
We therefore offer remote / virtual meetings over Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams or even FaceTime.
We have the technical expertise to make the process as simple as it can be. It really is as simple as ‘the click of a button’.
We can also offer technical assistance in advance of the meetings for those clients who are not as confident with IT and Virtual Meetings. We want to make the process of accessing legal advice as straight forward as it should be.
One of the significant benefits of Virtual Meetings is that we can provide advice to clients throughout England and Wales. Geography is no longer a barrier.
It should be noted that we do still offer face to face meetings in the office in line with government guidance.
