Sheila Read

As part of the residential property team, I help clients with all aspects of residential conveyancing for sales, purchases, transfer of equity and remortgages. I try to be honest and friendly at all times and understand how important good communication is to help minimise the stresses involved in moving home.

I have over 30 years’ professional experience having started my legal career at the age of 17 as a secretary in a solicitors’ office. I worked my way up to being a fee earner at various local firms before joining Tanners in January 2016.

I was born in Stroud and have two daughters. Outside of work I enjoy walking in the countryside, sewing, flower arranging and crafts.
