I advise a wide range of clients about all kinds of long-term planning. Making a will or power of attorney can involve difficult decisions – I offer friendly and honest advice and guidance to help you make arrangements that “feel right” for all concerned. I enjoy co-ordinating with overseas lawyers for clients who live or have interests abroad. I also seek to relieve stress and uncertainty for clients who are dealing with the consequences of a bereavement.

I came to Tanners on qualifying as a solicitor in 2006. Before this, I studied at Northumbria University, that being one of the few places where I could complete an English law degree and a degree in French law at the same time, which included a year’s study at the Université d’Orléans. I also previously trained as a community mediator (civil disputes) in North Tyneside.

When completely disconnected from the law, I enjoy parenting, flying my kite, exploring using my much loved Brooks trainers or Scarpa boots, reading sci-fi, membership of my local church, watching Scandi noir and seeking out new music.
