I act for clients buying and selling, leasing and mortgaging a wide range of property. Whilst the work is generally commercial or business orientated, including offices, shops, industrial units and pubs, I might just as easily find myself involved in a transaction consisting of a country estate with agricultural connotations, or indeed a residential flat in London.
I began my career in the early 1980s in London, first in the West End followed by ten years in one of the larger City firms. This gave me valuable experience taking part in numerous large scale, complex transactions often with hefty price tags, but also the less valuable experience of uncounted unnecessary all night meetings! Eventually I saw the light and decided to put an end to commuting and dealing with the London grime, arriving in Cirencester in 1994 where life is better and the work more varied.
I live locally, am particularly partial to the pinot noir grape, and like to think that I’m a connoisseur of the English pub. Occasionally I bring my rather wilful Labrador to the office and hope no one notices.
