Andrew Herridge
As a dispute resolution specialist, I help individuals, businesses and other organisations find solutions to a wide range of legal disputes. I have considerable expertise in personal injury claims (acting both for Claimants and Defendants) including claims of the utmost severity. This in turn has led to work both as a Professional Deputy and in the Court of Protection.
I also have a regulatory practice where I assist a well-known national entity with matters concerning professional misconduct. Additionally, I undertake professional negligence work as well as more general disputes work covering contract claims, product liability matters, inheritance claims and trust disputes. I have litigated cases in various courts and tribunals up to, and including, the Supreme Court.
I started as a trainee solicitor at Harris & Cartwright in the Thames Valley, before joining Wood & Awdry in Chippenham. I progressed to Partner with Wood Awdry Ford (as it became) before it was subsumed within Thrings, where I remained a Partner. I joined Tanners in 2015, re-teaming with Hugo Richardson and George Burges with whom I was in partnership at Wood & Awdry.
Outside of work my main focus is my family although I like to travel and also to fit in some canal boating when I get the chance.
